Move-in Checklist

First Month's Rent & Security Deposit

You'll need to pay the first month's rent and the security deposit to secure the lease for the rental home. Please confirm the amount with our team in advance.

Move-in Date & Inspection

We will provide all necessary information about your move-in and initial inspection at the lease signing.

Utilities

Please place all utility accounts for your property in your name after signing the lease. Remember, you are responsible for keeping these accounts current throughout the duration of your stay in the property.

Failure to pay your utility bills in a timely fashion may result in losing access to your services.

Move-out Checklist

Notice of Intent to Vacate

Planning to move out of your rental home? Please refer to the terms and conditions outlined in your lease. You are responsible for paying your rent through the end date of the lease.

We ask you to please provide us with written notice of your intent to vacate the rental, giving us time to begin preparing for new renters.

Property Condition

Before you hand in the keys for your rental, you'll need to bring the property back to rent-ready condition. This includes the following:

Rental Cleaning: Start by decluttering and organizing each room. Remove all personal belongings and any trash; next, wipe away dust and cobwebs and wipe down all hard surfaces, including countertops, appliances, and cabinets.

Clean windows, mirrors, and light fixtures throughout the property. Vacuum or sweep floors and mop hard surfaces.

Don't forget to clean the bathroom thoroughly, including the toilet, shower, and sink. Empty and sanitize trash cans. Lastly, ensure the oven, refrigerator, and dishwasher are clean and free of any food residue.

Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: If you typically address outdoor landscaping tasks like mowing the lawn, please be sure to take care of this once more before vacating your rental home.

Repairs: If any damage occurred during your tenancy, please take the necessary measures to repair these damages. This includes patching nail and screw holes, painting over any stains, and replacing any burnt lightbulbs.

Security Deposit

After you move out of your rental home, our team will conduct a final inspection to check for any new damage. If we identify any problems, we will schedule repair visits. The associated cost for these repairs will be deducted from your deposit.

Please remember, you cannot use your deposit to cover your final rent payment. Failure to pay your rent on time may result in additional feeds, adverse credit reporting, and legal action.
